Junior Chef: Hansik Tour

“Junior Chef: Hansik Tour” is Korean language program for 15 novices and 15 intermediates in grade 3-5. During this program, students will enjoy differentiated instruction under thematic unit focusing on Korean food, Hansik, for 110 hours of instruction over a five-week period. Through this program, students advance their Korean language skills in 3 different modes while gaining knowledge about Korean food through project-based learning to create their own Korean dish collaboratively with their peers. Aligned to the World-Readiness Standards, instruction will be offered Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., July 9, 2018 to August 9, 2018 at 58-20 Utopia Pkwy, Fresh Meadows, NY 11365 (Francis Lewis High School, 3FL).
