The differentiated learning will provide opportunities for stimulating exchanges about principles of teaching and learning, lessons learned, and successes experienced. This residential program consists of three parts: a one-month pre-workshop online session, a one-week onsite workshop at the University of Toledo, and a post-workshop online forum. Participants will leave the STARTALK-CHELER program with new knowledge and effective strategies of developing student-centered, standard-based, and thematically organized lessons to build a learning community through technology. The STARTALK-CHLER program, including room, board and tuition, is free for qualifying applicants. Participants receive six continuing education units upon successful completion of the program.
